My favorite blonde in Hollywood (or New York, in this case) is Kelly Ripa’s.
Her base is a gorgeous honey golden blonde, with highlights and lowlights.
The three colors are beautifully blended, and the brighter are reccommended brighter towards the face, and sparingly throughout the back and underneath. The slices are very thin to blend in easier.
I do this technique a lot for blondes, so that they are multi-dimensional. It is especially nice for ladies with fine hair, because it gives the illusion that you have a ton more than you really do.
The upkeep for a look like this can be a tad pricey if you are not a natural blonde like Kelly, although it is not always necessary to retouch the highlights and lowlights everytime you go into the salon.
